Honour killings recorded, NCRB 2024
NCRB recorded 36 murders with honour killing as the motive in 2024. Bihar had the most (6), then Jharkhand and Punjab (5 each). Manipur has the highest rate, 3.07 per crore, from one case. Twenty-three states and territories recorded none.
