Mudra loans to SC and ST entrepreneurs, 2022-25
Bihar had 27,973 Mudra loans to SC and ST entrepreneurs per lakh SC and ST people over three years, Haryana 23,274 and Tripura 21,071, against 12,558 for India, and fewer than 1,500 in Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur and Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. Uttar Pradesh is at 13,890 and West Bengal at 10,151.

The count is loans, not borrowers, so one entrepreneur with several small loans counts several times. SC and ST are reported together and the population base is the 2011 Census. Loan numbers are those uploaded by lending institutions to the Mudra portal. States with under 1 lakh SC and ST people are left grey.
