Data vintage. This map uses NFHS-5 (2019-21). NFHS-6 (2023-24) state fact sheets were released in May 2026, but they are provisional and report fewer indicators, so the figures here have not been replaced.
Data note. NFHS-6 reports high blood sugar separately for women (NFHS-6 map X225) and men, not a single adult diabetes figure. The takeaway on this older map says Chhattisgarh is under 5%, but NFHS-5 reports 9.0% of women and 10.8% of men there with high blood sugar, so the map is flagged UNCERTAIN: check the source before quoting it.
